Welcome to Perform! In this article, we'll introduce you to the manager view of Perform. We'll walk through the key system areas and the actions managers can take to manage their teams performance.
Let's start with a walkthrough of Perform for managers:
View your team
The My team area is where managers go to manage all their teams activity. All team members will be listed, and if anyone in your people team is also a people manager, they'll be able to drill down and view activity for members of their team:
From the My team area managers can assign objectives and reviews to everyone, track and update an individual team member's activity. Expand the menu below to find out more.
Individual and team objectives
From the My team area managers can set objectives for one or more members of their team. Alternatively, select Check objectives for a team member to view all their existing objectives. From here, managers can create a new objective just for that team member.
Managers can also track progress, and add comments and attachments to an objective, all of which can appear in a review form.

Development activities (personal goals)
From the My team area you can Create a Development activity for a member of your team.
Select Check development activities for a team member to view all their existing Development activities. You can also track progress, and aadd comments and attachments to the activity, all of which can appear in a review form.

Reviews
Although called 'Reviews' they're more adaptable than that. Reviews are often used for check-ins, PDPs, onboarding, and well-being check-ins - whenever there is an important conversation between a manager and team member that should be recorded.
From the My team area you can assign a review to one or more team members. Alternatively, select See reviews for a team member to view all their existing reviews. Alternatively, select My reviews, to see all your reviews - both as the reviewer, and as the reviewee.

Feedback
Constructive feedback is crucial for personal development, and a key feature of Perform. From the My team area select See feedback to view share and request feedback for a team member - from anyone in the organisation at any time.
