A Manager, grandparent (a manager with a team of managers) or administrator can delegate responsibility for a review to a colleague. Colleagues can be notified when they are delegated a review. A review can be delegated to any user in Perform. They do not need to be a manager.
This ability for managers to delegate reviews can be switched on or off in Perform - if you require this, please raise a request with our support team via Zendesk. When delegated, a review looks like this:
![]() |
![]() |
....to the delegated reviewer | …to the reviewee |
Step One: Navigate to any open review. Open the drop-down menu and select ‘Delegate’:
Step Two: Search for the employee to whom the review will be delegated (search on either first or last name). Any colleague can be delegated a review. The colleague to whom the review has been delegated will see the review in their My review section (in the ‘as the reviewer’ section).
The delegated reviewer will receive a notification that a review has been delegated to them.
