As we progress with some larger items behind the scenes, such as Pathways and the Refresher Beta, there have been some small enhancements and bug fixes this month.
In this update:
- New ACL permission to hide 'Perform Group' options
- Ai skill suggestion stability fix
- Enhanced mobile experience for the Learner skills dashboard
- Impersonation error when requesting a level change resolved
New ACL permissions for hiding Perform Group options
In response to feedback received after introducing two new group options, we’ve added corresponding ACL permissions. These new permissions give admins greater control over visibility, allowing for more flexible management of which users can perform specific group-related actions.
The two new options are:
Make this group visible in Perform (for bulk assignment of reviews and objectives)
Allow Group Administrators of this Group to see the people within this group in Perform
So that a User can see these two options, the following ACL Permissions must be added to their LMS role:
Admin.Groups.PerformGroupVisible.View
Admin.Groups.PerformGroupAdmin.View
Not sure how to add an ACL permission to an LMS role? See Steps to add an ACL to an LMS role for full details.
Ai skill suggestion stability fix
We’ve resolved an issue where AI skill suggestions (used in skill tagging and skill profiles) could get stuck. This occurred when multiple skills were added or edited while suggestions were being processed. The process is now more stable and no longer freezes in this scenario
Enhanced mobile experience for the Learner skills dashboard
We’ve made improvements to spacing and addressed minor accessibility issues on the mobile view of the Learner Skills Dashboard. These updates enhance the overall experience for learners accessing the dashboard on mobile devices.
Impersonation error when requesting a level change resolved
We’ve fixed an intermittent issue where an error could occur when impersonating a user and requesting a skill level change on their behalf. This process now works reliably without errors.
