What are ACL permissions?
Learn offers six standard LMS roles, each granting varying levels of system access, ranging from the restrictive student role to the comprehensive LMS Administrator role.
Each LMS role is assigned a number of ACL permissions, each controlling access to a specific feature or function. ACL permissions are very granular. For example, an LMS role may include the ACL permission required to view Course properties but may not include the ACL permission required to edit Course properties. A full list of ACL permissions and a description of their purpose is attached to this article.
We recommend that you periodically review which Users have access to Learn admin to minimise the risk of unauthorised access to Learn admin.
