Recent bug fixes
Here are some recent fixes:
- Auto-boosted skills were temporarily incorrectly displayed as manager-approved. This issue has been resolved. All historical entries will now correctly show as auto-boosted where relevant and reference the appropriate lesson where the skill was attained.
- Skill import wasn't supporting some special characters. We now support all common special characters such as £ and "
Pathways (Beta)
We're very excited to announce that Pathways is now live for all customers. This has been a highly requested feature and much-watched. What are pathways? It's a way to curate longer, more complex learning journeys, such as onboarding, leadership programmes, career paths, or specific skill development.
With the ability to auto-boost skills at key milestones, this is a game-changer for how you can manage taking people on key journeys.
For more information, check out the Pathways article.
As part of Pathways, skills can be assigned to milestones and auto-boosted if configured. This means we have added a Pathways section to the skills evidence feed to show if a skill was acquired for a milestone for accurate and more flexible control over how employee acquire skills:
Skill evidence feed includes development activities
Development activities now appear in the Skills Evidence feed to ensure a more complete and accurate record of each person's skill evidence.
These entries are visible only to Perform users. With the recent Perform update, users can tag skills to development activities, and once completed, these activities will appear in the Development Activity feed. If a level change is approved by their manager, it will also be reflected in the Skills Evidence section.
