This article describes how to unlock a User's account in case of a lockout. The most common cause of account lockouts is Users forgetting their passwords, which often causes them to contact Administrators and request help.
This situation can occur when the User has attempted and failed to enter their password multiple times. They usually have five attempts, after which the account is locked and needs Administrator actions.

Steps to unlock a User's account

- Select User:
-
Select the User. Use the Search fields to refine the list of Users if required or scroll down the list of Users:
- Select Edit from the User's Details page view:
- Select Unlock from the pop-up box that appears:
- Select Save to submit and confirm the action
- Select Return to go back to the User's information
That's it. The User's account has been successfully unlocked.
An administrator should also look to reset the user's password once the account is unlocked to ensure they can easily log in without further issues.
