In this article, we explain how an Administrator can manually change a User's password. This is particularly useful when a User doesn't have an email address linked to their account and needs assistance resetting their password. Users with an email address can use the self-serve 'forgotten password' feature on the login page.

Steps to reset a password
- Browse to Administration Home
- Select User:

Select the User for whom the password needs to be changed. Use the Search fields to refine the list of Users if required or scroll down the list of Users:
- Select Edit from the User's Details page view:
- A pop-up window appears. Select Change:

Enter the new password in the field New Password. Consider password complexity when entering the password, such as the use of upper and lower case characters, numbers, and special characters (!?£$%):
- Enter the new password again in field Confirm New Password
- Select the tick box for Force password reset on next login if required
- Select Change to save and submit the new password
- Select Return to go back to the User details.
Ensure to inform the User of the password they should use for their next login.
