In this article, we describe how to modify User details. This may include situations where a User has been in contact and wants to change their name to something different from what is currently displayed on their account. This action can be completed by an Administrator.
The only exception is when a username or email needs to be corrected due to errors, such as misspellings during the import of new Users. In this case, an Administrator cannot make the changes and must raise a request with Support to update the details.

Steps to modify User details
This example shows changing first name details, and the same principle applies to other information shown to the user.
- Browse to Administration Home
- Select User:

Select the User for whom details need to be modified. Use the Search fields to refine the list of Users if required or scroll down the list of Users:

Add in the details that are required; this example shows the 'First name' field, which has been changed to Matt rather than Matthew:
- Select Submit to save and confirm the change:
That's it, and the User's information has been updated.
