In this article, we'll explain the purpose of the options that appear in the Group Administration menu, which is visible whenever a Group is created.

Details | Summary details of the Group |
Custom fields | Create your own Custom fields to record additional information about Groups in Kallidus Learn. All custom fields can be included in reports. Custom fields are only visible in Learn admin. View this article to find out more about Custom Fields and how they can be used to record and report on highly specific details about Events in your LMS |
Members | View and edit User assignments to this Group. |
Administrators | Assign Users as Administrators for this Group. Only Users with the appropriate permissions can be selected. |
Group | Create a hierarchy of Groups, so that all learning assigned at the 'top' of the hierarchy (Parent Group), will cascade to all Groups below in the hierarchy (child Groups). |
Accreditation | View and edit Accreditation assignments for the selected User |
Catalogue | Assign a Catalogue to this Group. Group members can browse and select Courses from the Catalogue. |
Course | Assign a Course(s) to this Group. This course will then be mandatory for any Users in that Group and the Course will appear in their ‘Courses I have to do’. |
Rules | |
Send email | Send an ad-hoc email related to this Group, and all members of child Groups (if a Group hierarchy is defined). You can also send a copy of the email to yourself. |
Report | HTML reports are available within Learn. They offer real-time data, but please note that unlike Business Objects reports, they cannot be customised or scheduled |
