Here's what's new and fixed in the May 2024 release.
What we fixed
We have fixed these reported issues:
- Evaluation form follow-ups - the notifications were not consistently sent as expected
- Accreditation ordering - we have made a small improvement to this within the My Courses area
What's new
- Relative dates for Group rules - assign Users to Groups based on start/end date and birth date
- New integration available with Microsoft Viva Learning (Beta)
- Update to permissions for Course Promotion - use ACL permissions to control access
Relative dates for Group rules
In response to your feedback, we have made enhancements to Group rules within Learn.
It's now possible to create Group rules relative to date fields (Start date, end date, and birth date). This allows you to offset Group assignments based on start date, for example, meaning that new starter training can be assigned in stages, instead of all at once.
New integration with Microsoft Viva Learning (Beta)
It's now possible to surface your Learn content within Microsoft Viva. When configured, learners can search for content within Microsoft Viva (subscription required), view course titles and descriptions, and, when clicked, be directed to Learn to Complete the Course. This feature is currently in beta. If you are interested in this integration, please contact your Customer Experience Manager.
View the Microsoft Viva Learning Integration (BETA) article to see how to set up the integration.
Update to permissions for Course Promotion
We have made updates to the Permissions within Learn for Course Promotions. With this update, you will be able to control which administrators have access to the learning promotions page. LMS Administrators will be able to control which administrators can use this feature by updating the security permissions in Learn (ACL permissions). Take a look at Roles and responsibilities 101 for full detail of LMS roles in Learn.
