Here's what's new in the 6th June 2024 release:
What's fixed
- User generated content (UGC )assets were not deleted in the back end if the lesson was deleted
- UGC links now auto moderate if no moderators are set up
What's new
- Notifications for UGC now in Users preferred languages
- Competency checks can now be delegated to a specific Group(s)
- Learn outbound APIs
Notifications for User-generated content now in Users' preferred language
Notifications for User-generated content will now be sent in each user's preferred language. For example, if the creator's preferred language is English but the moderators' preferred language is French, then each will get the notifications in their preferred language.
This will be done automatically, and no configuration or setup is required. To learn more about User-generated content view the 'switch on and use User-generated content' article
Competency check delegation to a specific group
Currently when creating a Competency check you can assign the approver to a line manager or Course tutor. This new addition will allow you to select a specific group that can be the approver for a competency check.
We're currently working on a new enhancement to make clear to the learner who they should contact to arrange the check.
Learn outbound API's
We have been working to improve access our Learn APIs, this update helps provide the courses for a Learn user which can be further filtered to return the following 'states':
- Mandatory courses
- Non mandatory courses
- Completed courses
The above states should further reflect what the Learn user would see on their My Courses page.
Documentation is currently available on request, this will be made publicly available in due course.
