In this article, we'll explain how to create and schedule a follow-up evaluation. This is an important tool for LMS administrators seeking to measure the impact of learning over time.
Evaluation Forms can be created and assigned to Courses, Lessons, and Events in Learn LMS. For each evaluation, up to 5 follow ups can be configured.
- All learners who completed the initial evaluation, will be invited to complete the follow-up
- Learners will receive a request to complete the evaluation the moment a Course/Lesson is completed, or an Event is attended
- Follow-up evaluations can contain a different set of questions to the initial evaluation
- Administrators specify the period of time between initial and follow-up evaluation (the timing for the default 'Recommended form' cannot be changed)
Steps to create and schedule a follow-up evaluation
- Browse to the 'Evaluation form' area of Learn admin:
- Find the evaluation form that is required and select 'Edit' to open it:
- Select the 'Follow-up' tab:
- Enter the number of days in the 'send after days' field. This is how long after the initial evaluation was completed that the follow-up evaluation request should be sent:
- Add questions to the form in the same way as the action to create an evaluation form
- Select 'Save' to keep the changes
The follow-up evaluation is now ready and will issue based on how it has been set to send automatically after the initial evaluation form is completed by Users.
