Introducing Smart Tasks

Looking for more flexibility in how you assign tasks and gain a few extra minutes? Look no further.

Introducing Smart Tasks, a powerful way to create engaging task assignments faster and easier than ever. Go from setting tasks individually in the workflows to building structured workflows in a matter of minutes, with feature enhancements like Dependent Tasks, Relative dating and Refined precision. 

Here’s how they help:

Dependent Tasks 

Specify task assignment date based on when other tasks are completed. This allows you to build structured workflows easier while allowing workflows to be completed in a particular order or faster if needed.

Relative Dating 

Don’t bother calculating two relative dates or shuffling through your calendar anymore! Configure assign dates and due dates based on the other. Set how long you want allocated to each task, relative to the other setting.

Refined Precision

Assign tasks relative to other dates in monthly increments ensuring longer-term tasks are more precise in assignment and due dates as opposed to using days, weeks or years.

Documents

New Document State 

Never go back and forth collecting document signatures again! We’ve got your back. 

Our New Document state “Submitted” is here to keep your work moving and document statuses up to date.  

Once a document is signed in Sapling, it now goes to “Submitted” and only flips to “Signed” when HelloSign has confirmed it has recorded a signature indicating a fully completed document. If incomplete, it retains the “Submitted” state awaiting signatures.

Integration

Level up with TeamSpirit Integration Enhancements

Connecting your People Data from Sapling to your TeamSpirit account just got easier!  

Manage all new hires, employee updates and offboarded team members data in your TeamSpirit HR & Payroll system on a weekly basis. 

• With the TeamSpirit Integration, Sapling will generate and send 3 CSV files each week containing new hires, offboards, and data changes in the past week.  
• Once received by TeamSpirit, user’s profile is updated with the new file.
