Automatic skill boosting updates a learner’s skill level when they complete relevant learning content or are signed off following a competency check.
In this article, we'll show how to configure a Pathway Milestone so that a specified skill is automatically awarded to learners upon completion.
This makes it easier to recognise progress and reduce admin, especially when your learning content already aligns with your skill framework. Note that it is also possible to configure auto-boosting on completion of a Lesson.
Steps to automate skill progression on completion of a Milestone
- Browse to a Pathway Milestone
- Select Skills from the Pathway Milestone Administration menu:
- Select Add Skills:
- Select Actions:
- Select Edit.
- Set the Skill Target Level. If required, select the Autoboost skill' option:
- Select Save to complete the configuration
