Recruit - PDFs aren't opening in my browser window (Chrome)

This article is aimed at people who use Chrome as their web browser where PDFs aren't being displayed as expected on the page.

e.g. in the "View application" section on a Screening form where you should be able to view a candidate's application as shown below, where Chrome is providing an option to download the PDF, rather than viewing it on the screen there and then:

Solution

This is a Chrome setting. Go to Settings > Privacy and security > Site settings > PDF documents (under Content) and change the default behaviour setting to Open PDFs in Chrome, rather than Download PDFs as shown below:
