In this article, we'll explain how to archive a review template, and importantly, when to do it. A few things to know about archiving review templates:
- Draft and published templates can be archived
- Archived templates can be republished
- Archived templates cannot be deleted
- Archived templates are unavailable for assignment to employees
- Existing review assignments (assigned before the template was archived) will be unaffected
When to archive a review template
The key impact of archiving a review template is that managers can't assign it to their team anymore. So, if a template isn’t needed, it’s time to archive it. This keeps things clear and simple for managers - and Perform Administrators.
How to archive a review template
- Select Template builder from the Perform Administration menu:
- Find the review template to archive
- Select Archive. The Review template will be immediately archived:
