Welcome to Kallidus Reporting & Analytics' March roundup! Let's review what we've released over the past month.
What's fixed
- We fixed an issue with user-created reports. After an hour of having the report editor open, you were unable to save any changes without refreshing the page and losing your latest edits.
- We fixed an issue that was impacting the frequency of daily data refreshes.
What's new
- People Overview report
- Dataset enhancements
- Manage report visibility (beta)
- Edit user-created report descriptions
People Overview report
We've added a brand-new People Overview report to Power BI. This report aims to provide a high-level view of courses, objectives, and reviews all in one place! Look out for it in the next few days. View The People Overview report to find out more.
Dataset enhancements
Based on customer feedback, we've made several enhancements to our existing datasets. These enhancements will be rolled out to all customers over the next week.
Event costing
These are added to the Events Dataset, listed under 'Event costs' in the data model:
Course ratings
Course ratings are now added to the below Datasets:
- Catalogues, courses, and lessons administration - course ratings are available as measures
- Evaluations - course ratings are available as dates, details, and measures
Manage report visibility (beta)
We've now introduced the ability to specify which reports are available to your stakeholders in their reports hub. This option is available for both Fixed and User-created reports.
For example, a Compliance Manager may need to access reports for Learn but none for Perform. With this new feature, you can make any number of Learn reports visible to the Compliance Manager while keeping all Perform reports hidden away.
This feature is currently in beta release, with general availability for all customers targeted for mid-April.
View Manage report visibility to find out more.
Edit user-created report description
Based on customer feedback, we've now made it possible to edit the description of a user-created report as part of the 'Save' process. This will help you provide better clarity on a report's content and purpose.
