In this article we'll explain the main uses of the Perform Feedback Report.
In Perform, feedback can be given in one of two ways: solicited (requested) or unsolicited. For solicited feedback, the Perform user or their manager can ask for it to be provided. When it comes to unsolicited feedback, more or less anyone can choose to leave feedback for anyone else.
The Perform Feedback Report has been built to help you see the volumes of feedback across your organisation, response rates to feedback requests, the proportion of feedback requests that don’t generate a response, etc.
The extent to which feedback is being given, particularly when it has been asked for, can be a useful cultural indicator of an organisation's openness and ‘connection’.
Among the things the report contains are the following:
- How many people have received feedback, and how many have not.
- How many requests for feedback have led to a response being received?
- How many requests for feedback are still awaiting a response?
- How many requests for feedback have been cancelled because a response was not received?
- How many individual people have requested feedback?
- The total volumes of solicited and unsolicited feedback held on the system.
- Detailed drill-through to see what feedback has been provided.
Other things to note
- Effective filtering will be crucial to getting the most from this report.
- By default, this report has one filter pre-applied.
- You have the option to amend the filter.
- The pre-applied filter states that the user’s account on Perform must not be archived.
- Date-range filters for the feedback requested date and the feedback response date can be applied across all report pages. Other date-based filters can be applied to specific data tables where they appear.
