Learn - Replace MP4 and MOV content when changes are made

In this article, we'll explain how to replace MP4 and MOV video content with a new version.

The below steps apply most commonly where the change is minor, and any Users who have viewed the original Lesson can retain their ‘Complete’ status with the updated version. 

If the change to the content is more significant, then a different process will likely be necessary. Before you replace content files, take a look at What to do when eLearning content gets updated for recommended steps. 

Note that SCORM, PDF, XLS, PPT and Word files are updated via a different process.

Steps to upload a new version of MOV or MP4 content

1. Browse to the Lesson area of Learn admin:
2. Select the Lesson for which content should be updated
3. Select 'Video set up' from the Lesson administration menu:
4. Select 'Replace video':
5. Browse and select the file to upload
6. Select 'Submit', then 'Yes' to begin the replacement
