This article has been created to help you toubleshoot any issues you may be having with either user accounts being un-enabled or not appearing after a datafeed has run.
Steps:
We would advise that you follow the below toubleshooting steps and then get in touch with support if this does not explain the issue;
- Has a feed file been provided to Kallidus?
- Is the file in the expected format, i.e. are all the columns included, have the Column names been changed, are there extra commas at the end of the record, if the file is a spreadsheet, has the work book name been changed?
- Check if a record exists in the file for the User, if not, a User record will not be added to the LMS or the existing User record will be disabled.
If a record exists for the User,
- Check that the Username doesn’t exist on any other records – if so, the records will be ignored by the Import process as a Username must be unique for each user.
- Check that the ImportKey doesn’t exist on any other records – if so, the records will be ignored by the Import process as a ImportKey must be unique for each user.
- Check that Username exists on the LMS – if so, is the ImportKey the same as what is on the supplied record or is it different. If it is different, the Import process will see the supplied record as a new User record (as the ImportKey is unique across all Users) but won’t be able to create a new User record because the Username already exists as the Username must be unique across all Users. Please note, as the ImportKey as a text filed, the value ‘1’ is not the same as the value ‘001’.
