In Learn, skills are a very important means of tracking the development that your people are undertaking. Skills can also be an indicator of future career direction, development planning, and more.
A fixed report exists to provide summary and detailed information about the progress your people are making on the skills assigned to them.
The report shows an individual's current skill level, their target skill level, the current skill gap, and (if applicable) the latest skill change requests that they are awaiting their managers' decisions on.
Among the things the report contains are the following:
- A summary of how many people have skills assigned to them and how many do not.
- The ability to see who has pending skill change requests, what skills those requests are linked to and the levels which are being requested again the current level and the target level.
- The overall progress for skills, detailing the percentage and exact numbers, is below target, at target, or above target.
- Data drill-through, which lets you quickly access the granular data you need.
Open the filter panel to access a wide range of filters. This will enable you to view skill progress for specific groups, job roles, etc.
