In this article, we'll explain how to assign a Skill profile to a Group of Users.
Note that Skills can also be assigned directly to a User. When a Skill is assigned this way, it is referred to as a General Skill and will appear as such on the Skills dashboard.
There are two ways you can assign a Skill profile to a Group:
There is no limit to how many Skill profiles a User can be assigned.
Browse to the Skill profile and select the Group
- Browse to Learn admin
- From the Skills menu, select Profiles:
- Select Edit in the 'Groups applied to' section of a Skills profile:
- Select one or more Groups to assign the Skill profile:
- Select Save
Skills assigned to the Skill profile will now show on the learners Skills dashboard. Learn administrators can select Skills from the User administration menu to view ALL skills assigned to a User (including General Skills):
Browse to a Group and select the Skill profile
- Browse to Learn admin
- Browse to a Group
- Select Skills profile from the Group Administration menu:
- Select the skill profile(s) to assign to the Group:
- Select Submit to save the assignment
These skills will now show on the Skills dashboard and also on the Users profile page in Learn Admin.
