Purpose of this guide
This guide outlines the changes recently made to your system. This release contains new question types which you can add into a review form. These new question types enable you to add a mandatory question for completion and also add a question to only be completed by the reviewer only.
What is the impact of these changes? This release contains some useful new functionality for the review form. These new question types are not switched on by default and can be added into your review forms if you wish. We assess the impact of this release as Low. |
New question types for your reviews and check-ins – Mandatory completion and reviewer only completion
When setting up or editing a review form you can now set number scale questions as mandatory. This ensures they are completed before the form is signed off.
You can also set number scale questions to be completed by the reviewer only. This might be a score or rating which the reviewer is required to give but the reviewee is not.
Top tip: Try not to set all your questions as mandatory! If people feel pressured to complete information they may just fill the box without thinking too much. Responses should come out of the conversation that happens around these reviews. |
How will the review look?
If a question is set as mandatory then this is noted next to the question.
If either the Team member or the reviewer tries to sign off the form without completing this question then they will not be allowed to. They will need to complete this before they can sign off.
If you have set a question to completed by the reviewer only then it will show to both the team member and the reviewer but only the reviewer will be able to update it.
Good to know: You can mix and match both the mandatory question type and the reviewer completion only option. |
