In this article, we'll show how managers and Administrators can delegate, and undelegate a review to anyone in the organisation. This feature is particularly useful when a manager is away from the business or when a team member transitions to a new manager at the end of the review cycle. In such cases, it may be more appropriate for the initial manager to complete the review.
A few things to know about review delegation:
- The new reviewer can be notified when a review is delegated to them
- Delegated reviews no longer appear in 'As the reviewer'
- Managers can still see a delegated review, with read only access
- Reviews can be delegated to anyone
Note that delegating reviews to other people gives them access to potentially sensitive information. Consider your internal data protection policy before doing this.

Steps for a manager to delegate/undelegate a review
- Select the My Team tab:
- Find the team member who has the review to delegate
- Select See reviews for a team member:
- Find the review to delegate
- Select the down-arrow:
- Select Delegate

Search for the person who will be doing the review (search on either first or last name):
- Select Save delegation
To undelegate, follow steps 1-5 above, then select Undo delegation:

- In Perform, open the Administration menu
- Select View everybody:

Search for the User with the review to be undelegated:
- Select See reviews
- Find the review to delegate
- Select the down-arrow:
- Select Delegate

Search for the person who will be doing the review (search on either first or last name):
- Select Save delegation
To undelegate, follow steps 1-6 above, then select Undo delegation:
