Welcome to the April roundup for Kallidus Sapling! Let's take a look at what we've released over the past month.

Deprioritize or hide inactive users from search

Based on your feedback, we've made two key improvements to the search functionality:

• Active users will now be listed above inactive users with similar names in the search results
• Under Platform Settings, you now have the option to hide inactive users in the search results from Managers and Employees 

These enhancements significantly reduce the need to scroll through search results, and they ensure inactive users are less discoverable by non-Admin users.

Improved Time Off report performance

We've made some backend optimizations to the Time Off report to ensure reports are delivered more consistently and speedily. 

Manage invited users via People Directory

During onboarding, it's common for new hires to lose track of their Sapling invites, or for them to back out of their job offers at the last minute. When you're continuously managing multiple onboarding cohorts, resending invites or deleting non-starters individually becomes very tedious. 

With that in mind, we've introduced a new tab in People Directory specifically for invited users. Similar to the Active and Inactive tabs, you can now find all invited users in this central location and manage them using bulk actions - saving you lots of time! 

Show document descriptions in notifications

During onboarding, new hires are often assigned large document packets to be completed at various stages. With most onboarding documents having overlapping due dates, it can sometimes be difficult for users to determine the purpose and urgency of each document based on its name alone. 

With that in mind, we've added the ability to show document descriptions in the notification to all assignees. This improves your employee onboarding experience by providing clarity on the contents of each document - and you can also use it to include key instructions!
