Welcome to Kallidus Reporting & Analytics' April roundup! Let's review what we've released over the past month.
What's fixed
- We fixed an issue with user-created reports. After an hour of having the report editor open, you were unable to save any changes without refreshing the page and losing your latest edits.
- We fixed an issue that was impacting the frequency of daily data refreshes.
- We fixed a few minor issues related to our beta release of managing report visibility. We are now targeting early May as the general release of this new feature to all customers.
What's new
Course Ratings report
We've added a brand-new Course Ratings report to Power BI. This report is especially useful as part of a content audit to ensure that your LMS content is relevant, up-to-date, and performing well. The report includes:
- The number of ratings that have been received
- The average rating for a Course
- A drill-through option to see person-by-person ratings received

Future Event Dates Notification report
In Learn, Learners or their Managers can submit a notification request when they want to attend an event that is either not currently scheduled or doesn’t have a suitable date. This lets Administrators know there’s interest in a particular lesson - even if no sessions are currently available.
The Future Event Dates Notification report centralizes these requests to help Administrators track and respond to this demand. This report aims to provides visibility over how many Learners are waiting, what they’re waiting for, and how well current event schedules are meeting demand.

Override data restrictions (beta)
We've now introduced the ability to override a user's default data access so your stakeholders can see more data. This option is available for both Fixed and User-created reports.
By default, the data you see within a report is governed by our security model. For example, this limits a manager's view of reports to only show their direct reports. However, there may be occasions when a User needs to report on data beyond the default visibility.
A Compliance Manager, for example, needs to report on an entire organisation but may be unable to based on the security model. In that scenario, an L&D admin (who typically sees all data) can temporarily give their data visibility to the Compliance Manager to enable wider reporting.
This feature is currently in beta release, with general availability for all customers targeted for early May.
