The latest version of Business Objects is BI 4.3 now supports the SHA-2 hashing algorithm for a more secure SFTP.
The SHA-2 fingerprint format is 32 sets of 2 characters separated by a colon e.g. xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx
If you have set up a Business Objects schedule that sends data to an SFTP server that is not the Kallidus-hosted SFTP server then you will need to update the fingerprint in each SFTP schedule to your SHA-2 fingerprint by following the steps below.
- In Learn to to Administration > Reporting
- Click on the 'Schedules' button at the top of the page
The Kallidus SHA-2 SFTP fingerprint value is:
53:30:53:6c:e5:23:48:a8:8b:6c:ae:ce:fb:b1:ed:70:2e:96:e1:5f:40:5c:fe:48:45:54:e4:c0:26:53:cc:18
- Click 'Edit' next to the schedule that send data to SFTP
- Scroll to the bottom of the schedule details page and update the fingerprint value to the SHA-2 value for your SFTP server, then click 'Submit'.
- Repeat for all SFTP schedules
