In this article, we'll show how to apply date filters to show completions for a Course between two dates. Then, we'll signpost options to export, save, and share the results.
To answer this question we'll use the Learning progress report. Note that by default, the Learning Progress report is pre-set to include mandatory Course assignments only. View this article to see how to switch to view optional assignments.
Filter a report to show completions for a Course between two dates
- Open the Learning progress report (skip to step 5 to show completions for all Courses between two dates)
- Find the Course title filter
- Select the filter to open the properties
- Select the Course. Use the search option if required:
- In the Course assignments summary metric, select View:
- A Table visual lists all Completions for the selected Course. Select the edge of the visual to activate visual-level filters based on table data:
- Select the Course completed date filter. Use the search to find the filter if needed:
- Select Advanced filtering from the Filter type drop-down menu:
- Select on or after from the 'Show items when the value' menu
- Add the first date/time in the range:
- Note the radio button with AND selected. This option does not need to be changed. Select is before from the 'Show items when the value' menu
- Add the first date/time in the range
- Select Apply filter. The table is now filtered to show only completions within the specified date range:

To print the screen straight to PDF, select CNTRL+P. Alternatively, use a snipping tool to grab a specific area.
