In this article, we'll explain how to archive a global objective, and importantly, when to do it. Timing is everything! A few things to know about archiving global objectives:
- When archived, a global objective is no longer available to connect to
- Existing connections remain visible to your people
- Unarchived global objectives return to a 'published' state
When to archive a global objective
When a global objective is archived, it's no longer available to connect to. So if you still want it to be available, then you're not ready to archive it. Typically, organisations tend to archive global objectives, at the same time as new global objectives are published.
How to archive a global objective
- Select Global objectives from the Perform administration menu:
- Select the Archived tab
- Select Unarchive. This will return the global objective to a published state. Your people will be able to view and connect to it:
