In this article, we'll introduce the User Imports Report.
Many customers use an automated People-data feed to transfer information from an HR source to Learn LMS. The User Import report details any exceptions or failures with the previous night's data feed. For example, users not created or invalid/duplicate information.
This is one of the very few fixed reports not to contain any ‘all pages’ filters. That’s because any exceptions/failures need to be viewed in the context of the overall Learn import process.
In the below screenshot, the report has run but with some failures:
The failures are:
- Invalid Username
- UserName already exists under another User
Select 'Import Exceptions and failures' to see more detail:
This page gives specific detail about the failures. For example:
How often does the reports database refresh?
- The report database refresh twice a day
- A time stamp showing the most recent database refresh is shown in every fixed report
- The 'database refresh' timestamp can also be added to a user-created report
- Each Dataset is refreshed individually, so the time stamp may differ between reports using different Datasets
- Where a fixed report and a user-created report are built using the same dataset, the time stamp will be the same
