Sapling - Kallidus Perform Integration Guide

Introduction

The Kallidus Sapling platform helps HR and People Operations teams automate and streamline administrative tasks so they can focus on employee experience, retention, and creating an amazing culture for the most successful teams.​​

Our Perform integration allows you to sync new hire data with your Perform account, saving your HR, People Operations, and Payroll manual data entry and removing the risk of errors, while providing a great new hire experience.

With this integration, Sapling will:

1. Create Users: When a user completes their Sapling profile, they will automatically be created in Perform.

2. Update User Attributes: When a user attribute is changed in Sapling, the corresponding user profile in Perform will automatically be updated.

3. Deactivate Users: When a user is offboarded in Sapling, the corresponding user in Perform will automatically be disabled.

How It Works

Setting up the Integration Step by Step

Before configuring your integration, talk with your Implementation or Success Manager to set up your specific field mapping.

Step #1. Retrieve your Perform API Key

1. Reach out to your Kallidus Customer Success Manager.

Step #2. Enable the Perform Integration in Sapling

1. Navigate to the Integrations → Kallidus→ Perform

2. Enable the Kallidus Perform Integration

3. Enter your Perform subdomain URL and API key

Step #3. Confirm the Integration settings

1. Review the integration filters and make your selection

2. Save changes and that’s it!

Kallidus is continually expanding the number of fields that sync between Sapling and Kallidus Perform.

Key Factors to be aware of

Kallidus Learn and Kallidus Perform

• If you are leveraging Learn, Perform, or both, there is only one API call needed to create user profiles.

• You will only need to enter your subdomain URL and API Key once.

• In Sapling, you will enable both if you are using both integrations.

Employee Syncing

• To ensure a consistent data flow, once you activate this integration, we'll attempt to match all existing employees between Sapling and Kallidus Perform.

Filters in Sapling

Sapling supports filtering, and allows you to identify what users you want to keep synced based on the following:

• Location

• Department

• Employment Status

Field Mapping Coming Soon

The integration with Sapling and Kallidus Perform will allow for Field Mapping. This is in the works and excited to share more about this in the upcoming weeks.
