In this article, we'll explain how an LMS administrator can add an ACL permission to an LMS role, to give that User to access Perform reports.
Information in Perform reports is often sensitive and confidential, so by default, no Users will have access to view Perform reports - even if they already have access to Learn LMS reporting (learning and performance reporting are often owned by different teams).
How to give permission to access Perform reports
Access to Perform reports is controlled by ACL permissions. Once the correct ACL permission is added to a Users role, the User will see all the reports.
The ACL permission to add to a User's role is Admin.Reports.Perform.Folder.View
Users will get a restricted view of Perform data, as follows:
- Perform Administrators* will see data for all Users in Perform
- Users with the LMS role of Manager' will see data for their team only
- Users who are not a Perform Administrator or a manager, will see their own data only
