What a Perform Administrator can do
As a Perform Administrator, you have system‑wide visibility and control that helps you support users, maintain data quality, and ensure smooth performance management processes across the organisation. The sections below outline each key administrative function and the value it brings.

Key actions for a Perform administrator
Alongside core system administration tasks - such as managing branding, creating review templates, and running reports - Perform Administrators can also support users directly by helping them complete and manage their Perform activity.
To carry out any of the administrator actions described below, go to View Everybody, search for the user, and open their profile. From there, you’ll be able to view, edit, or manage all relevant items.
Manage and Edit Objectives
As a Perform administrator, you can view all objectives assigned to any user, as well as create, edit, and archive objectives across the entire system.
This allows you to support managers by adding objectives when needed, ensuring users’ objectives are accurate, and troubleshooting any queries about existing objectives.
Oversee Development Activities
You can access every user’s development activities and have full control to create, update, or archive them.
This is useful when helping someone refine their development plan, assisting managers in setting meaningful activities for their teams, or reviewing current items to resolve user questions.
View, comment on, and administer Reviews
Administrators can view all reviews for any user, add comments, delegate reviews, or force‑close a review when participants are unable to do so themselves, and re-open a signed-off review if mistakenly closed.
This capability helps you troubleshoot review-related issues, intervene when a process gets stuck, and ensure reviews progress smoothly.
View all Feedback for any User
You can see all feedback submitted about a person, giving you visibility to help diagnose issues or respond to queries about missing or incorrect feedback.
This access helps you support users and maintain clarity across feedback interactions.
Run system‑wide Reporting
Administrators have full access to all Perform reports and can report on any user in the system.
This allows you to track usage, monitor completion rates, identify trends or problem areas, and maintain a clear overview of engagement across the organisation.

Delegate Perform administrator capability to key individuals
It’s possible to give specific individuals the ability to manage and administer selected users in Perform.
This access is controlled by the Group structure in Learn, meaning you can assign someone responsibility for managing and editing Perform activity for members of a particular Group.
For example, if your organisation uses Perform across multiple regions, you can assign local administrators to support users in a specific geographic area. A Group Administrator based in France could be responsible for all users in that region, providing support in their native language and during local working hours.
