There might a number of reason why emails may show as failed in the audit trail. Some of them include:
- Candidate email is incorrect i.e. does not contain @ sign
- User added a substantial attachment to the email template
- User added an invalid attachment to the email template - for example, a document marked as 'Mergeable' which isn't a merge document
- Incorrect use of merge fields (if unsure how to use merge fields please contact support for assistance)
- Incorrect identity (sent "from" field)
- An interview confirmation email being sent for the wrong "series" - (e.g. if a candidate is at telephone interview stage, and the recruiter attempts to send an email relating to first interview stage). Ensure the correct series is being selected when you send a confirmation email to a candidate
- It is possible there was a technical issue with the system (if that is suspected please contact Kallidus support immediately to remedy the problem)
- Incorrect email type for the type of communication
