Queries related to Job alerts module
Q: Can the candidate unregister?
A: Yes, each candidate wishing to unsubscribe from the job alerts will able to log in to their profile and select “Never” from the frequency drop down. This action will result in emails no longer being sent to the individual who unsubscribed.
Q: Candidates not receiving job alerts
A: There might few reasons why candidate think they’re not receiving job alerts notifications:
- Alert frequency is set to “Never”
- Email notifications are flagged as “Spam” in candidate’s inbox
- Email address entered during registration does not match candidate’s email address (often candidates forget which email address they used for registration or there’s a spelling mistake in the address)
- Candidate selection does not match currently available jobs on the portal
