It’s essential for employees to have visibility of the Skills that matter for their role. In this article, we'll introduce the Skills dashboard and explain what it shows and when learners will see it.
When a learner is assigned Skills, either through a skills profile or direct assignment, the Skills dashboard will be visible in the learner view. The dashboard provides a clear and accessible view of the skills an employee should develop, along with links to relevant learning content to support their growth.
A few things to know about the learner Skills dashboard:
- Users will only see the Skills dashboard once they have had at least one skill assigned to them
- Skills can be assigned via a Skill profile, direct assignment or by the user completing an auto boosted lesson for that skill
- Only content that has been tagged with that Skill will show on the skills dashboard. Lessons can be tagged with Skills manually or using the bulk AI tool
- Skill evidence to track all activity against a skill and changed to their skill levels
Note: When Skill levels are introduced, the Learner’s skill dashboard will provide even more insight. It will display the learner's current skill level alongside the required target level to help guide their development.
