In this article, we'll explain how to allow a past date to be entered when signing off a Competency check. This can be helpful when a User has many checks to sign off and prefers to update Learn on a later day, for example, when they have time set assigned to complete follow-up actions and admin.
When activated, the Date option appears at the end of the check. The date will default to the day the check is viewed, but can be backdated if needed:
Steps to allow a past date to be added when signing off a Competency Check
- In Learn admin, browse to Settings:
- Select Other settings from the Administration menu
-
Find the option 'Option.CompetencyChecks.SetIssueDate'. By default, this will be set to False:
- Select Edit
- Type true in the editable field:
- Select Save
