In this article, we'll show how to filter the Event management and analysis report to show all Events in a specific date range. By default, the report summary is split into two parts - Events in the past, and Events in the future:
From either summary panel, it's possible to drill through into the details of all past Events or all future Events (see The Event management and analysis report for more information about drill through with this report).
However, it's also possible to view all Events, and to apply a date filter to include all dates in a specific range, including both past and future dates. For example, the last 3 months and the next 3 months.
Follow the steps below to see how.
Steps to filter to a specific date range
- Open the Event management and analysis report
- Select the Event start date filter:
- Select is on or after from the 'Show items when the value' drop-down menu
- Enter the earliest date in the range:
- Select is on or before from the 'Show items when the value' drop-down menu
- Enter the latest date in the range
- Select Apply filter:
You can now use the 'past / future' event summary sections to drill into the detail. Or select 'All Events' to see a summary of all the past/future Events included in the filtered date range:
