In this article, we’ll show how to amend the title of a data field or a measure, when it is applied to a Visualisation in Power BI.
The field names in Kallidus datasets reflect the naming of features in Learn. For example, a data field might refer to a Course, Lesson, Event, User, and so on.
When a field is applied to a report, a report designer may wish to change the visible name for the data field, in order that the purpose of the Visualisation is clear to the report audience. This may be neccessary: because:
- One of the generic names for a field is not meaningful to the report audience
- A custom field is used in the report (and is labelled 'User field 01')
- Filter data by date range

- Select Save to keep the changes
