In this article we’ll see how to add a card visualisation to a page in Power BI. Card visualisations are a great way to summarise headline metrics or single pieces of information. Card visualisations can be:
- dragged to any size you want
- copied and pasted
- formatted to suit your organisations brand
Steps to add a card visualisation to the page
- Start a new User-created report or open an existing report
- From the Visualisations panel, select 'Card visualisation'. An empty Card will be added to the report:
- Check that the Card visualisation is still the selected item on the page. From the Data panel, select a Data field to add to the Card. Card visualisations work best with measures:
- Save the report when you're done
