Frequently asked questions
- Q: I use multiple Kallidus products; will I be able to navigate from one to another without signing in again?
- A: Yes, we're rolling out updates to our top-level product navigation to include Sapling over the next few months.
- Q: Can I (or my new hires) use Sapling from a mobile to complete their preboarding or other tasks?
- A: Yes, the employee and manager experiences in particular are optimized for mobile, and the entire app is responsively designed for availability on tablet or mobile devices.
- Q: Are there any other new features included in the new Sapling?
- A: Yes, quite a few actually and most suggested by our customers. Read more about those features available now or soon here.
- Q: How long will Classic Sapling still be available?
- A: For now, you can "return to Classic Sapling" at any time from the upper-right menu; however, we're planning to deprecate Classic Sapling at the end of the summer so we can focus entirely on improving your experience in the new Sapling.
- Q: There are some features (like Bulk Onboarding) that redirect me back to Classic Sapling; when will those be available in the new Sapling?
- A: Depending on how your organization is using Sapling, you see a message redirecting back to Classic Sapling for a bit longer as we finish out those areas. Those areas include Bulk Onboarding (and Bulk Rehire Onboarding) and singular Onboarding for pending hires that were imported to Sapling from certain ATS integrations.
- Q: Are there more improvements planned for Sapling?
- A: Yes! We have a dedicated team working on a series of "fast-follow" enhancements to the new Sapling including design, accessibility, and functional improvements. We also recently dedicated a team to our Customer Feedback Series through the summer that is focused on additional customer-suggested enhancements.
- Q: I need more help or am experiencing an issue; what should I do?
- A: Visit our Help Centre to check our knowledge base or connect with our Support team. You can also get in touch by clicking "Need help?" from the bottom-right corner of Sapling (or any Kallidus product).
- Q: I have feedback to share; where can I share it?
- A: We love feedback: you can share suggestions in our Feedback Portal (which is also available in our Help Centre) or by reaching out to your Customer Experience Manager or Customer Success Manager.
