How to clear cookies to resolve site performance issues
The support team may suggest you clear cookies if for example, you have reported that your site is not loading, if content is not loading, and for general performance issues.
Clearing cookies is a first step to troubleshoot such issues. It can help to improve the loading time of web pages, load new versions of web pages, and increase performance.
Importantly, cookies can be cleared for specific sites only, ensuring that other sites you visit are not affected while you troubleshoot Kallidus products.
The steps to clear cookies are different for each browser. We've added the steps below for Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers.

- Browse to the site where you're experiencing the issue
- Select View site information:
- Select Site settings:
- Select Delete data:
- Select Delete to confirm the action:

- Browse to the site where you're experiencing the issue
- Select the padlock to view site information:
- Select Cookies and site data:
- Select Cookies
- Select the site name:
- Select Remove:
- Select Done
Types of cookies we use and why
There are two types of cookies you may encounter when using Learn LMS:
- First-party cookies: Controlled by us to provide information about site usage
- Third-party cookies: Found in external tools we use to enhance our site.
First party cookies
Learn LMS uses cookies in several places. We’ve listed each of them below with more details about why they are used

These cookies are essential for the Learning Management System. They maintain your signed in status while you are using the system, and allow you to authenticate with other systems that use Windows Identity Foundation. These cookies are deleted when you close your browser. |
Forum Cookies ForumView |
These cookies store information about visits to forums for courses and lessons. They store the preferred view layout for forums, and the date of the last visit to each forum. There is a separate cookie for each forum that is visited. |
Search cookies ***/Default.aspxKallidusPage |
These cookies store the search filters that are applied when using the administration area of the Learning Management System. They do not apply to the student portal. They store the current page of a list, the search text that has been applied, and any other search filters. There is a separate cookie for each area of administration that is visited. |
Moxiecode Image MCManager_im_lastPath |
This cookies stores the last local path that was used to upload an image into the Learning Management System. The image manager can only be accessed from the administration area. |
Offline lesson cookies LMSOfflineStatus.*** |
These cookies store information about lessons that have been downloaded to a computer for launching while offline. They store the status and score information, and information about each lesson. This feature is not available in all LMS installations. |
SCORM cookies |
These cookies are used by the SCORM 2004 player to remember user settings while running a SCORM 2004 course. |
Third party cookies
We use a number of suppliers who may also set cookies on their websites on our behalf. Learn LMS does not control the dissemination of these cookies. Check the third party websites for more information about these.
Google Analytics _utma |
These cookies are used to collect information about how visitors use the Learning Management System. The cookies collect information in an anonymous form, including the number of visitors to the site, where visitors have come to the site from and the pages they visited.
