- Recording how your business is performing on its global objectives
In the next few months, we will release a report that will show all this information and help you correlate your business outcomes against your performance management activity. The features described below will enable you to start collecting that information, so when the reports are ready, you will be able to see this correlation starting to form.
Linking Development Activities to objectives
When a new Development activity is created or edited, the below 'Purpose' question will now appear:
This ensures that within the system, it can be seen that this development activity is supporting a particular objective. In turn, if that objective is linked to a global objective, then we understand that this personal development is supporting that business goal.

Linking objectives to development Activities
When a new objective is created or edited, the below 'Create Development activity from this objective' will appear:
When selected, a Development Activity can be created, with the option to link to the objective pre-selected.
This link gives insight into what development is occurring to support objectives. And if that objective is linked to a global objective then we understand that this personal development is supporting that business goal.

Recording how your business is performing on its global objectives
We have enhanced the global objective area to now include information about the position and, ultimately, the outcome of the business goal. This is important as this provides the benchmark for the correlation with the number of objectives/development activities supporting that goal.
Within a global objective, you can now outline whether the objective is on track or off track and further outline the current state of play regarding the target:
Updating this regularly will enable your organisation to correlate performance management activity and success within your global objectives. This is coming soon within our reporting solution.
In addition to being displayed within reports, your users will be able to see the status of the global objective on their linked objectives:
