Acknowledgement for document and URL lessons
In response to customer feedback, we have added two new settings that enable you to require a declaration for document and URL lessons.
When enabled, opening a document or URL lesson will not automatically change the status to 'complete'. Instead, it will remain 'In Progress' until the learner clicks the checkbox to acknowledge that the document has been read or the URL lesson has been viewed, which will then change the status to 'Complete'.
This can be enabled under Settings, then navigating to Video and eLearning. The toggles to enable this are available under the Learner form acknowledgement section. When enabled, all document and/or URL lessons will require acknowledgement.
Learn UI Refresh in October
We’re introducing a fresh, bold new look for Kallidus. Our refreshed interface is designed to make it easier to learn, develop, and perform while ensuring consistency, speed, and accessibility.
This isn’t just a facelift. It’s the first step towards a unified, modern, and accessible experience across our products.
More on the upcoming changes following the recent email can be found here.
Overnight email changes
The update to email sending times as per the July release notes is now almost complete, with the final customer changes taking place shortly.
As a reminder, we’ve updated how emails are triggered. Previously, many notifications were only sent overnight. Some emails are now processed throughout the same business day, sending from between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm UK time. The timing will depend on the volume of email and your position in the email queue for processing. This eliminates the need to wait until the next morning to receive them. This stops emails triggering phone notifications in the middle of the night and helps with compliance with the right to switch off in some countries. A further benefit is better compliance with specific email providers (Yahoo, Google, etc.), which reduces emails from being caught in spam.
Refresher updates
Thanks for your feedback on the Refresher Beta here are some recent updates:
- The check box to enable Lessons sets will now only be shown when creating a new Course or if a Course has Lesson sets enabled.
- We have fixed a bug impacting some customers relating to deadlines emails for repeated courses
