Kallidus offers a number of different ways you can connect with our Platform using APIs and integrations. This article is a high-level overview of those capabilities.
Kallidus offers three main routes for customers to connect external systems to the platform. They are:
Depending on what approaches your other systems support, and your internal capabilities, you might decide to use any of these options.
Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP)
SFTP allows customers to send Kallidus files of data, which Kallidus then configure to be ingested into the Kallidus Platform. During implementation, your Kallidus Consultant will work with you to configure this approach correctly to meet your business needs. Your responsibility is to send us consistently formatted data files, and our responsibility is to process them into the Kallidus Platform as agreed.
Kallidus also offers data extraction to SFTP, which allows customers to pull out Kallidus Reporting datasets. You can read more about this tool here.
API-driven integration
API-driven integrations allow you to define how you want the integration to work yourself. During implementation, your Kallidus Consultant can help you to get the API credentials required, and you can then use our documentation to define your own integration behaviour. Your responsibility is to build and maintain the integration logic, and Kallidus APIs then ingest that data into the platform based on your instruction.

Kallidus Connectors
Kallidus Connectors offer a worry-free route to an API-driven integration. Kallidus has defined, and built, off-the-shelf connectors for many HR applications and other business tools. These work as documented, and are maintained by Kallidus. Your benefit is a worry-free integration; you provide your API Credentials, and the Kallidus Connector does the rest. It is Kallidus' responsibility to maintain these integrations, and your responsibility lies in ensuring that the data and it's structure is sent to us un-changed (and to notify us of any changes if your 3rd Party provider raises them).
We are able to create bespoke Connectors for more specific needs, and we are always happy to discuss adding new Connectors to our library.
