Adding a job profile
When adding a job profile there is a field called Associated group which for the majority of our job profiles is not populated. Does anybody use it or know what it is for? Does it actually impact rules at all and the order they run? I have looked for this on the knowledgebase but still don't have a definitive answer. Most of our job profiles are from the data feed so have nothing in this box? Only spotted it the other day when we did need to add a manual entry job profile?

Hey Alison Perry that's an excellent question, and had me scratching my head for a moment!
'Associated Group' predates Group Rule functionality, and in a very simplistic way, does the same thing - the User will become a member of whichever Group you specify in the ‘Associated Group’ field.
However, now that we have Group rules, which offer greater flexibility and complexity, the ‘Associated Group’ option is rarely used.
