How are we using Skills at Kallidus? Part 3: Developing managers
Join us for a practical, behind-the-scenes look at how Skills is being used at Kallidus with our own Head of L&D, Justin.
In this session, Justin will share how Skills is being extended to support manager capability. He’ll share how he's added additional skills specifically to develop effective people managers and we'll take a look at the My Team dashboard, exploring how managers use it to support growth in their team and identify development needs. How do you reduce your admin time by delegating responsibility? Part 1: LMS roles
This three-part live event series is your practical guide to delegating the right responsibilities to the right people, so you can spend less time on day-to-day admin and more time on what really matters.
In this first session, we'll walk through the six standard roles, what each one can access and how you might use them in practice. We'll log in as some of the roles so you can see exactly what your users will experience when they sign in.
We'll also look at custom roles, when they might be the right choice, how to set them up and why documenting them carefully is so important.

Configuring email notifications for effective learner communication
Email notifications are one of the most powerful tools an admin has, but they are often left on default and forgotten. Configured well, they keep learners informed, prompt action at the right moment, and reduce the volume of 'I didn't know' responses your team receives.
We'll cover all of the basics of setting up your email notifications as well as give some top tips and advice on managing them over time.
Whether you are new to notifications or looking to improve your current setup, you will leave with the practical skills and confidence to communicate with learners more effectively.
