On June the 10th 2021 we intend to make the following updates to your system:
Minor system improvements and fixes
- We have fixed an issue where the event import did not apply event defaults. If the import requires defaults to be applied then event approval, email templates and evaluation form assignment are all applied.
- We have fixed an issue where ‘Review mode’ was showing two close crosses to some learners.
- We have fixed an issue where the user menu was going off the side of the screen when zoomed in within Internet Explorer 11. (Note: Microsoft are removing support for IE11 in the next few months).
- We fixed an issue in the manager booking area of the My Team section where the ‘Save’ button was not always selectable.
Changes to way in which emails can be sent from Learn
We have made a small change to Learn to tighten the way in which emails are sent from the system. This change has been made to improve security. Previously the ‘From’ address was configurable and could be changed to any address by any administrator with access to the Settings area of the system.
We have now altered this so the ‘from’ address is fixed and cannot be easily edited. To change this address, please contact our Help desk and we can arrange for this setting to be altered.
What else is changing?
Learn will now send all emails from the ‘from’ address. Previously emails may have appeared to have come from a manager or from a different address for specific templates or events, but now they will show as coming from the main ‘from’ address only. The frequency or content of the emails will be unchanged.
