API
New classifier search (exact match) API call
Classifiers are used to drive the selection options for any vacancy and requisition fields which use fixed lists of values. They are also used for user categorisation as well as for tagging people in talent pools.
Like the recently introduced Search-related API calls, this new API may be used to obtain a relevant ID for a particular classifier item. The ID returned may then be used in other API calls where classifier data needs to be populated.
Unlike the existing List and Search classifiers API calls which can return multiple items, this new call will return only a single matching item provided a match is found:
- Configuration > Find classifier items by exact name - Find a particular classifier item and it's corresponding unique ID (Guid). Pass a classifier name and a classifier item name to obtain a classifier item which exactly matches what is passed and obtain the corresponding ID.
Candidate portal
Location field now displayed on vacancy tiles on the Candidate dashboard
The location of a vacancy (or other equivalent field) is now displayed on the vacancy tiles on a Candidate's dashboard, as per the field that is now displayed as standard on the Vacancy details page. This will help candidates to distinguish between different vacancies with the same job title when they may have applied to multiple locations.
Display of section headings
Section headings are now displayed as expected in all languages. These were not being displayed as expected in multi-language systems under some circumstances.
Use of Social sign-in functionality on Internal candidate portal
Use of this feature when registering on the Internal candidate portal was resulting in candidates registering as External candidates, rather than employees. This has been resolved.
Agency portal
Behaviour of "Continue" button for agents continuing a candidate's application
Previously if an agent exited a candidate's application before completing the Eligibility page then logged back into continue the application, the URL of the Eligibility page would revert to the standard Candidate portal URL, rather than maintaining the /Agency path in the URL. Agents will now be taken to the expected URL - /Agency/VacancyEligibility.aspx.
