This release includes a few minor updates and improvements, following recent client feedback.
Backoffice
Manual emails to interviewers
Sending emails and calendar invites manually to Interviewers using the Forward by email function is now fully supported. Previously, emails to interviewers could only be sent automatically as part of the process of adding candidates to slots.
The comms pop-up page will now only allow relevant interview series to be selected, based on which interview series selected candidates are assigned to.
If using this functionality, all selected candidates must be in the same interview series and must be allocated to an interview slot. A warning will be displayed if this isn't the case.
Interview slot-related merge fields for past interviews
Previously, when previewing calendar invites, if the slot was in the past, the interview information was not merged into the preview. This behaviour has been changed so that the interview information will always be visible, which is expected to make it easier for users to notice incorrect dates.
Block transfer of a candidate to a vacancy if they are already exist in the second vacancy
A warning message will now be displayed if a user tries to transfer a candidate to a different vacancy, in which the candidate already has an unsubmitted or a submitted application. An improvement has also been made to allow immediate selection of an alternative vacancy without having to refresh the underlying page, e.g. if the original vacancy selection was made in error.
Global search will now return candidate with .it email addresses
As "it" is a standard excluded search term, users were not able to find candidates with .it email addresses using the global search function on list pages. Searching for .it email addresses will now work as expected.
Possible to import candidates with no email address/login
Using the Import candidates feature, it was previously possible to create an account with no email/login. Any further candidate imports also with no email/login would then end up allocated to that same original account. The email field is now required for all candidates in an import file and the import will fail for any candidates who do not have this information.
Performance enhancements
This release includes various performance enhancements, which should impact the speed in which dashboard pages and list pages load.
Count of available slots on Interviews dashboard page and in other places
There was an inconsistency in the way available slots were calculated in some places, which meant that the numbers of available slots seen when adding candidates to an interview series or when adding new slots to a series was not the same as the number on the overall Interviews dashboard. The numbers will now be consistent in all these places.
User portal
Reduce instances of subject changed errors
We recently introduced some new error detection to prevent data issues if Kallidus Recruit in multiple browser windows. Logs indicated that this error was flagging in some circumstances within the User portal when it shouldn't have been, so this issue has been resolved.
Link to login after resetting password
The link to login shown in the User portal after setting a new password from a forgotten password email was linking to the Candidate portal login page, rather than the User portal login page. The link now points to the correct place.
Candidate portal
Explore other opportunities button
An issue has been resolved where, in certain configurations, the "Explore other opportunities" button visible after failing eligibility questions, could cause an error the first time it was clicked.
Pre-fill/Copy application improvements
Previously, the option to pre-fill a new application form from a previous application was shown, even if the only previous application had failed eligibility. This option will no longer be offered in this scenario.
Adding additional fields to detailed vacancy list tiles
Classifier fields including spaces in the field name may now be added to vacancy list tiles.
Improvement to Marketplace call to action page
For candidates doing assessments with integrated third parties, the page where the link through to the third party is shown has been improved. The introduction text is now always displayed, whereas it used to only be shown when the link was first generated. The notification panel style has also been updated to no longer be a green success panel, which might have suggested that a candidate had completed what they needed to do just by generating the link.
Agency portal
Link to login after resetting password
The link to login shown in the Agency portal after setting a new password from a forgotten password email was linking to the Candidate portal login page, rather than the Agency portal login page. The link now points to the correct place.
System Builder
Pre-flight check to warn if a top-up form is not allocated to any candidate status folders
Top-up forms must be allocated to a candidate status to control when they will be displayed to candidates. Previously it was possible to inadvertently not select one or more folders, so a pre-flight check has been added to prevent misconfiguration.
